Do you think Soap has ever thought about joining Red and Ghost? In your universe, is Soap attracted to her?
Tumblr media
A/N: Soap x F!Reader x Ghost. Threesome. This happens before Ghost and her are ever serious....also this is a crack drabble I was discussing with @yeyinde after watching this vid. I wrote this in the wee hours so it's chaos.
It’s almost silly how it happens. It begins before she realizes it.
Red is on a mission with Ghost and Soap down in Ecuador. It’s a swathe of screaming green jungle. The leaves are fat and waxy as rubber. It’s a mosaic of color. Unparalleled biodiversity. The hoot and call of birds swimming through the air and Red feels like she is perpetually damp. Humidity is syrup-thick. She slips in the mud, her boots heavy as cement. The air scalds like a fever.
Ghost and Soap take turns holding her up, giant arms firm around her waist as they carry her over perilous holes and thin brown streams. She doesn’t fight them on this. She doesn’t whine or snap that she can take care of herself. She trusts them. She knows they respect her, and rather than point out that her legs are shorter and her strength blunted, they silently step in to erase the differences.
The mission is fairly simple: just an extraction of data. Minimal blood-loss. Not guaranteed, of course.
The facility with the files is a giant cement building at the center of the Amazon. Vines cling to the corners. The sun bounds off metal sheeting.
“That’s an eye sore,” Soap remarks as he wipes the sweat from his brow. “What do you think, L.T.? Me and Foxy on the inside while you hang on the perimeter?”
Ghost grunts.
“Affirmative.”
***
Their voices are like smoke. Gruff. Velvet. Somehow full of gravel but also like melted chocolate. Dark. Bittersweet.
“I’m already countin’ down the minutes until we’re back at the safehouse,” Soap groans.
“Because that single mattress is so inviting,” Ghost replies flatly.
“Only our bonnie lass gets the mattress, L.T. You and I will be curled up together on the hard ground.”
“As long as you don’t rub up against me like you did last night.”
“I was cold!”
They continue to bicker back and forth, teasing and taunting each other while she attempts to drown them out. Ghost’s sentences scrape the floor, they’re so damn rough and rich as whiskey.
Do they know how they sound?
Like they’re licking between her legs, tugging her panties down with their teeth. It’s distracting.
“Foxy,” Soap purrs.
“What?” she snaps a little too violently.
“Ooh, someone’s carnaptious.”
“Is that your word of the day?”
“It might just be, hen.”
She swallows, massaging the cramped muscle in the nape of her neck. The computer in front of her is too bright. She can’t break through their security wall to access the data they’re here for. She’s good with guns, not with keyboards.
Ghost clears his throat. “You alright, Red?”
“Fine,” she says tightly. “But if you guys keep distracting me, we’re never getting out of here.”
“Distracting you, hmm?” Soap croons before lowering his voice to something dark, sensual, and heavy like a mudslide. “You like listen’ to us talk?”
How’d he get her right on the fucking money? She scowls even if neither of them can see it.
“Let her work, Soap,” Ghost warns, but it lacks all of the threat he usually utilizes.
“You’re too tense, lass,” Soap murmurs, and it feels like blunt nails skimming her scalp. “You need to relax.”
She sighs, squeezing her thighs together. “How?” It’s out of her mouth before she can stop it. Her curiosity tapping at the door. Her desire.
“How?” Soap echoes like he’s slightly surprised she took his bait. “Well -”
“After,” Ghost interjects. “Not here. When we’re back.”
She returns her fingers to the keyboard to work faster.
***
She didn’t expect it to go down like this. When they return to the safe house and that small room with a single mattress, they say nothing. It’s just instinct. It’s Ghost who removes her clothes, tugs gently at her shirt, and undoes her tac gear.
Soap presses her against the shower wall, his hand locked on the nape of her neck, fingertips digging into the knots. “God, Red,” he taunts. “You’re so tight.”
She laughs, and he smashes his mouth against hers to muffle it. His tongue plunges behind her teeth, his cock hard against her inner thigh. She grasps him, thumb nudging over the head until he jerks against her.
“Fuck,” he rasps. “Fuckin’ hell.”
***
Ghost keeps his mask on. She doesn’t say anything, and neither does Soap. It’s fine in their secret room. It’s normal because it’s part of Simon. They hold her between them as Soap forces her knee over Ghost’s enormous thigh.
“Take it easy on her, L.T.,” Soap hums as he traces the seam of her cunt. He pinches her clit as he rocks against her ass, and she can feel the bulbous head of his cock smear against her entrance, nudge and prod until, finally, he sinks to the hilt. She yelps due to the shock of his size and Soap’s hand flies to her mouth, muffling the noise.
“Don’t you fuckin’ dare, Johnny,” Ghost growls. “I want to hear her.”
“Aye,” Soap husks as he kisses her shoulder, sucking the skin until it bruises. "C'mon, bonnie...we know you can take it."
She should be embarrassed, flushed with shame that Ghost forced such a noise from her. She doesn’t care. Not really. They respect her. She trusts them. It’s easy.
Ghost continues. He doesn't fuck fast, but opts for slow, agonizing strokes that deliberately push into the center of her nerves. He breathes heavy, grunting when she clenches around him. The room is unbearably hot. There's sweat beneath her arms and under her tits and she's sandwiched between them. Worshipped. Treasured.
Good girl. Fuck. You're so fucking pretty.
“Shit,” she gasps when Ghost drives further, clamping his hand down on her waist to hold her steady. “Simon…”
He pauses, and the punishing drag of his cock halts only to pulse and throb in the clutch of her womb. She buries her fingers into his muscular shoulders. She needs the movement. She needs him to keep going because he’s just getting bigger, stretching her to her limit. Growing in place.
“Red,” Ghost murmurs as he palms her cheek. She lifts her gaze to his, and something shudders in her chest. Ghost’s eyes are clearer than they’ve ever been. A bright, velvet sky. Evening-dark. She can tell how blue they are against his black make-up.
Soap is still tasting her skin, he’s still grinding against her.
But, Ghost?
He’s looking at her like…like….

Amazon Web Scraping Services | Scrape Product Data from Amazon
If you want to scrape product data from Amazon.com, professional Amazon scraping services from companies like X-Byte Enterprise Crawling can help you get updated data feeds on a real-time basis and monitor all product data changes. The data feeds can assist you in competitive pricing together with different other applications.
Tumblr media
The review section of Amazon provides a lot of information about brands, which want to improve the customer experience through analyzing the data. Listening to your customers has become very important as if you don’t do that; you will be dropped behind in the competition in today’s quick-paced world.
What’s the Role of a Scraping Service Provider Company to Scrape Product Data from Amazon?
While scraping yourself can be a wonderful learning activity, it won’t be the best choice for your business. If you have other business challenges to deal with, it’s advisable to outsource web scraping with a dedicated data scraping service providing company like X-Byte. Let’ go through some advantages of hiring web scraping services provider like X-Byte
Easily Accessible
If your Amazon product data scraping requirements are bigger, then Do It Yourself solutions won’t work well and you won’t get the desired results. While a dedicated service providing company will have the resources and infrastructure to deal with big-scale requirements easily.
Complete Customization
The majority of scraping tools available have limited features and functionalities that might prove to be a serious blockage for your Amazon product data extraction project. With well-managed services, the customization alternatives are endless.
Be it the processing on scraped data, cleansing, various delivery methods or data formats, the scraping services can fulfill all your requirements.
Quick Support
Web data crawlers can break anytime if the targeted websites change their design or structure and that’s where you require immediate support, which can come into action to save your day. With the service provider like X-Byte, you will always get suitable support options for Amazon data scraping.
Maintenance
Maintenance is a very important factor for any Amazon product data crawling project. It is very important because the web is extremely dynamic by nature. Any crawling setup, which is working today might fail tomorrow although the targeted sites make a smaller change and that’s why maintenance is very important in scraping.
Conclusion
You need to understand that web scraping is not merely “coding” but you have to be skillful in database warehousing, coding, service-request, internet protocols, code cleaning, changing unstructured data into structured one, and machine learning. Practically, humans can’t do the effective scraping. You would perhaps need a team of a minimum of 5-10 people with everyone being a professional in his or her niche skill. That’s why you can always trust X-Byte Enterprise Crawling for taking care of your Amazon product data scraping requirements.

What frustrates me about The Discourse about AI art is that everyone feels the need to have An Opinion...and no one is willing to look into the conversations that have been going on for DECADES surrounding the relevant issues, or the cases that set precedent for what we can do here going back CENTURIES.
Let me lay out two very important things here:
The dataset ethics issue is more of an issue of digital privacy than copyright.
The labor issue has been seen MANY times throughout history; we can look to MANY other times new tech has shaken up a job market for precedent before AI even STARTS being used on large commercial projects.
Point #1 is true because, I have said before and I will say again, image synthesis is not collaging. It is not copy-pasting. It does not composite images in the dataset. It doesn't even save the images. It looks for patterns in the pixels and tries to recreate similar patterns from random or semi-random noise. This is why it often sucks at anatomy without human guidance - it recognizes that the word "hair" usually corresponds to a pattern that usually goes near a pattern that corresponds to a "head", it recognizes that "hands" usually have a certain pattern of repeating light and shadows, but it doesn't understand the intricacies of where those things belong or how many times a pattern might repeat. This is why images of architecture often have impossible geometry - it understands the shapes that these things tend to take; it doesn't understand the logic of what connects to what. People can use it to plagiarize - they can, intentionally or otherwise, force a result that is overfitted to a specific piece of data in the set - but to say that's ALL it does is comparable to the asinine claim that ALL referencing is plagiarism, because SOME people will just straight up trace or recreate a full piece that already exists, sometimes even by accident. (And some people - not all, not even most, but some who claim plagiarism, whether from AI or traditional art, are just...really? Do you really think you are the only person who has ever drawn, say, a pink fairy sitting under a purple luminescent mushroom, gazing at a full moon in the upper left, composed with the 1/3s rule? Do you really?)
And the thing is, I agree that the kind of broad data scrapes that have been used to create most AI models should be reserved solely for scientific curiosity if they're used at all, and I respect anyone who doesn't want to touch image synthesis until that issue is resolved. The only reason it doesn't bother me too much to play with it myself is that...unfortunately, we're all interacting with much worse as we speak. Ever heard the word "spyware?" If you're old enough to know it, notice how you stopped hearing it when Facebook normalized making literally the majority of the internet into spyware?
You can't really use the internet while wholly blocking Google, and their evils are pretty well documented. (Remember when we rolled our eyes at their internal "don't be evil" slogan? And how deeply unsettling it was to then watch them REMOVE that while ramping up aggressive datamining?) Amazon made Alexa to harvest your data to sell you shit more effectively. If you have a smartphone, Google or Apple or both are harvesting your data for all kinds of much more malicious purposes than making pretty pictures. Twitter uses your tweets and browsing patterns to force you to interact with people you will hate because negative emotions hold your attention better than positive ones and they want that sweet sweet advertiser money from your constant engagement; this was the case even long before Elongated Muskrat took over. Spotify Wrapped and knockoffs thereof are ~fun tools~ that...normalize just handing data about some pretty personal things over to anyone who dangles a shiny novelty in front of you made with it. It's used for invasive surveillance and policing, and Facebook's for-profit datamining even ended up being a tool of election interference - had it not been for them we might not be in nearly such a bad state with the rise of global fascism.
Image synthesis is one of the most harmless and even potentially BENEFICIAL things to be created as a result of this disturbing norm.
The fact is, small artists: copyright law may protect you a little, sometimes, but it wasn't made for us (and yes, I say "us", because even if you don't count my partially AI work as art, I do traditional art too, guys). It was made for Disney and their ilk. It is designed to protect corporate interests, not artistic ones. That notwithstanding, the copyright angle is a weak one in the first place - it's easy to argue that, because the process is transformative enough, and the dataset is large enough and abstracted enough from anything it was derived from, AI training on online art would fall under fair use, and it is only individual misuses that would constitute infringement. It's especially easy to argue this when you recognize that, at this point, that's more where the corporate interest lies, and remember who the laws are made for!
Digital privacy, on the other hand? The right to your own data? The right to be forgotten? The need to have regulations on where robots can and cannot crawl, and for what purposes? THAT is a critical conversation that we need to be having here, and if everyone with An Opinion on AI art focused their energy there instead of mostly just misinformed screaming about the sky falling and Art Dying And Society Degrading (which is HORRIFYING to hear from leftists in knowing its history as a fascist talking point), we could probably get some MAJOR good done.
Furthermore, even if someone ruled that AI training doesn't constitute fair use under copyright law, that won't stop big companies from using AI - Disney has PLENTY of frames of animation to feed a model to make something entirely their own. So do most animation studios. I have even been in talks with people trying to work on a 100% public domain AI model - the biggest concern about it is that if we complete and finalize it before the labor side of the issue is being worked around properly, it will EMBOLDEN unethical use in industry by getting rid of the potential legal complications.
So let's talk about the labor side and recognize - this isn't the first time new tech has threatened to make major changes to the way something is done in industry, potentially resulting in workforce downsizing. It won't be the last. Honestly, as a person who's been both machining and doing mixed media art since I was a kid (and sometimes both at the same time), I find it deeply disheartening how many people have not cared about this side of the issue until it was certain art jobs that might get automated...and even more frustrating how people refuse to look to past cases for how the harms of new tech shaking up employment have been mitigated.
What we could and should be fighting for is a government program to compensate and optionally retrain employees who were laid off due to automation (ANY automation, not just in art!!), as well as independent workers who see a drop in income due to increased market saturation. We can do this. We've done it before.
We could and should also be fighting for UBI - this will be harder, but it's more popular now than it ever has been and some places are even TESTING it while the internet watches; it is not nearly as much of a pipe dream as it once was.
What's NOT going to help anyone is devaluing the labor of new automation tech operators - that INCENTIVIZES the corporations to adopt it FASTER where possible, and treat both new and existing employees WORSE. "I could replace you with a robot; you're employed out of the goodness of my heart" is one of the most common justifications for abusing and underpaying employees in relevant positions. Big media companies already rely on crunch at poverty wages; they're only going to get worse about it with AI tech because "oh you're just pushing buttons, what do you mean you can't do that for 20 hours at barely minimum wage, how lazy can you get?" if we continue this line of thinking. However, if we recommend and enable new automation operators - in all industries - to UNIONIZE before their work and thus their mistreatment even starts, it will make the transition a hell of a lot easier on both new and existing workers.
Tl;dr: It's great that we have a lot of people concerned about artists' labor rights and tech transparency now PLEASE LEARN YOUR HISTORY AND DIRECT YOUR ENERGY WHERE IT IS NEEDED INSTEAD OF ASSUMING YOU KNOW EVERYTHING FROM A FEW SENSATIONALIZED ARTICLES I BEG OF YOU

When data is messy
There’s a story I tell in my book because it’s a great illustration of how AI gets the wrong idea about what problem we’re asking it to solve:
Researchers at the University of Tuebingen trained a neural net to recognize images, and then had it point out which parts of the images were the most important for its decision. When they asked it to highlight the most important pixels for the category “tench” (a kind of fish), this is what it highlighted:
Tumblr media
Human fingers against a green background!
Why was it looking for human fingers when it was supposed to be looking for a fish? It turns out that most of the tench pictures the neural net had seen were of people holding the fish as a trophy. It doesn’t have any context for what a tench actually is, so it assumes the fingers are part of the fish.
The image-generating neural net in ArtBreeder (called BigGAN) was also trained on the same dataset, called ImageNet, and when you ask it to generate tenches, this is what it does:
Tumblr media
The humans are much more distinct than the fish, and I’m fascinated by the highly exaggerated human fingers.
There are other categories in ImageNet that have similar problems. Here’s “microphone”.
Tumblr media
It’s figured out about dramatic stage lighting and human forms, but many of its images don’t contain anything that remotely resembles a microphone. In so many of its training pictures the microphone is a tiny part of the image, easy to overlook. There are similar problems with small instruments like “flute” and “oboe”.
In other cases, there might be evidence of pictures being mislabeled. In these generated images of “football helmet”, some of them are clearly of people NOT wearing helmets, and a few even look suspiciously like baseball helmets.
Tumblr media
ImageNet is a really messy dataset. It has a category for agama, but none for giraffe. Rather than horse as a category, it has sorrel (a specific color of horse). “Bicycle built for two” is a category, but not skateboard.
Tumblr media
A huge reason for ImageNet’s messiness is that it was automatically scraped from images on the internet. The images were supposed to have been filtered by the crowdsourced workers who labeled them, but plenty of weirdness slipped through. And horribleness - many images and labels that definitely shouldn’t have appeared in a general-purpose research dataset, and images that looked like they had gotten there without the consent of the people pictured. After several years of widespread use by the AI community, the ImageNet team has reportedly been removing some of that content. Other problematic datasets - like those scraped from online images without permission, or from surveillance footage - have been removed recently. (Others, like Clearview AI’s, are still in use.)
This week Vinay Prabhu and Abeba Birhane pointed out major problems with another dataset, 80 Million Tiny Images, which scraped images and automatically assigned tags to them with the help of another neural net trained on internet text. The internet text, you may be shocked to hear, had some pretty offensive stuff in it. MIT CSAIL removed that dataset permanently rather than manually filter all 80 million images.
This is not just a problem with bad data, but with a system where major research groups can release datasets with such huge issues with offensive language and lack of consent. As tech ethicist Shannon Vallor put it, ”For any institution that does machine learning today, ‘we didn’t know’ isn’t an excuse, it’s a confession”. Like the algorithm that upscaled Obama into a white man, ImageNet is the product of a machine learning community where there’s a huge lack of diversity. (Did you notice that most of the generated humans in this blog post are white? If you didn’t notice, that might be because so much of Western culture treats white as default).
It takes a lot of work to create a better dataset - and to be more aware of which datasets should never be created. But it’s work worth doing.
Subscribers get bonus content: a gallery from a few of my favorite BigGAN image categories.

Links or credits to this post when the content is reposted or captured in other SNS is appreciated :) -------- Text by: Yohsuke Hayakawa The first to appear in this magazine is Kaoru, the guitarist who is also the composer of the latest single "Ochita koto ga aru sora”. Starting with the process of making the single, leading up to the completion of this new song, the days of struggling to pursue the ideal sound, the originality that they got from that, and the current band that has not changed from the past intense days. What I saw on him was, the figure of a stoic leader who bet on Dir en grey possibilities and devoted himself to it. Also in the latter half of the interview with the theme of “Albums that inspired you”, he did  not only  talk about X Japan and national legendary bands that changed his life, but he also talked enthusiastically about the unknown world that he learnt from Hide and Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi, who he is a fan of.  “I think there is something that can be challenged now” -First of all, I would like to ask you about the corona outbreak we are currently in, but it was impressive when you, with your own words, announced on SNS  a live without audience ‘The World You Live In” that was held in March with the message of  "it’s not the things that we can do now , it’s the things that only can be done now”. I thought the movements of DIR EN GREY with these rare activities and projects that entertained fans were summarized in those words. K: Well, that's right. There are things that can be done in the current limited situation, things that we wouldn't normally do, things that we didn't come to, and things that we can challenge now. There were quite a few things that were more like "Let's do it".  Regarding lives without audience, we don’t know how long this situation will keep going on but, under these circumstances, it wasn't that much at that point in time for us to perform live. We thought it would be a plus for what we are expressing and what we are going to express in the future. Also, we tried to do it in a moment in which you could feel something. -Including the streaming that came after that, I think there are many people who felt closer to DIR EN GREY. In particular, the livestream of talk between members (DIR EN GREY LIVE ARCHIVE & SPECIAL TALK) is a project that you wouldn’t had think of before, isn’t it? K: (laughs) We don't usually talk much. -(Laughs) Moreover, I thought that it was only now that we could see an appearance of the combination of Kaoru and Shinya acting ‘as usual’. K: Well, that's right (laughs). -Is that something that you could do now, 23 years after your formation as band? K: No (laughs), the main reason is to do it is the situation right now. If this weren't the case, I think the idea wouldn’t even come up. Normally there are live performances, so I'd like people to feel it there, but we can't do that now. Well, it’s just to entertain the fans, but after all we thought it would be nice if they could feel something similar to that, feeling excited by our presence. -I see. So, regarding the status of the announced the Pia Arena MM performances for the  tour final "The Insulated World -The Screams of Alienation-" in July, you probably were thinking about what do to about them until the very last minute. K: That's right. It was decided a few days before the announcement that the lives were canceled. Of course, we also made a set list, and the production side was also moving. The entirely staff were informed, and everything was working. I actually went to the venue and talked about how it would be possible to hold the lives in these conditions. However, there may be some people who couldn’t come no matter how much they tried to. There was also the risk of not knowing if you can do it until you start it. -I think it was canceled after assuming the kind of live performance that was possible to be held, but it was a really tough decision. K: Well, it couldn’t be helped. -Oh, in a nutshell. K: Yes, it couldn’t be helped, it couldn’t be helped. What we could do following the rules (the government guidelines) is the reason we couldn't do it. Tickets were sold in advance through the fanclub, but in fact, with the spreading of Corona on the way it already had a significant impact on sales. -Oh, that was what happened? K: Yes. So, in response to that, we even came up with the idea that all the arena would have seats not only the designed areas. We could do that by reducing the capacity in order to keep a social distance. That way, we also thought that we might be able to do it. However, there may still be some people who wouldn’t be able to come, and moreover, there were a lot of things that we couldn’t do in both days. Well, it was a half-way point situation. Therefore, there is no choice but when the situation calms down, to relocate the dates. -Under such circumstances, you said you were producing the single in parallel. K: Yes, we were planning to release it around the Pia Arena performances, so we have been working on it for some time. -And “Ochita koto ga aru sora” was completed. The original melody was composed by you but, the title was announced in May. I wondered if it was going to be a song that brings melancholic elements to the forefront. I was trying to imagine it. K: (Laughs) Ah, the atmosphere of the title. -Yes. The sound that we actually got is bursting with DIR EN GREY-ish aggression that explodes from the beginning including a grooved dragging guitar riff. So, to put it into words, I had the impression the style of DIR EN GREY was contained in a "super condensed" form. It's used in a kind of luxurious way, with the melody refrain being minimal by scraping off the excess. K: That’s right. This shape (final song) is like, we were really worried about it and it felt like it just got here. Along the way, there were elements that would make things more exciting, more piercing. There was more development.  However, we made it in that way, but I felt like “Well, I’m tired of it” (laughs). -Hahaha. K:  Rather, it doesn’t seem as interesting as usual. This is really…. words may not match…it’s somehow Japanese. I wasn’t satisfied with anything, so it felt more like I was speaking out my mind (laughs) I scraped it off though. -The reason why the song became very condensed is that all the members were looking in the same direction. K: Well, I don't know that. However, as my method, I don’t really decide (the direction) at the beginning. If you do that, the result will be in that shape and I prefer to explore the possibilities. Besides, because I don’t know if the rhythm really matches the melody or if the back-melody matches, there are many things to think about, so I don't want to decide at the beginning. Under such circumstances, I didn’t know what to do in the end.  Well, I settled on something that someone said, or something that inspired me, but it was hard to get to the point where I could see it.- -As a result, I feel that the single became very DIR EN GREY-like. K: Yes, that’s right. I was working on it while thinking that there was that “likeness”
-Did you imagine the development of this single with an impressive melody popping out even though it’s aggressive? I wonder if something like this come out naturally.
K: No. I didn’t really imagine that. Even if I try to imagine, there are things that I can’t imagine at all.
-So, how does the completed form of this song look to you?
K: This time I was arranging it all the time based on the data of the tentative/provisional  songs recorded at the beginning. So, with that, it was almost brought to this finished form. From that point on, Kyo sang again several times and changed it slightly but along with the melody from the beginning, it was made with that flow. However, there were setlists that each member made during this time, right? (”DIR EN GREY AUDIO LIVE STREAM 5 DAYS" that was broadcasted on YouTube in May).  As you could see there, there are various DIR EN GREY, right? On the other hand, I feel that whatever we do, it will probably feel like DIRENGREY-ish.
-Something that can be hidden anymore. There is something that oozes out.
K: Well, very much, as far as you don’t do something different. I was too worried. When I told the members that I didn’t know what to do, I was told ‘You don’t have to think so much about, right?”, so I was like ‘is that so?’. In the end, the song turned out like this (laughs).
“At that time, I kept struggling to find out how to get closer to the sound I envisioned.”
-Oh, that’s what they told you. As for the form of songwriting, you work remotely regardless of the corona, right?
K: Yes, that’s always the way. So, nothing was different than usual for us.
-The change was that you couldn’t go outside between work time.
K: That’s right. I was concentrated on it all the time.
-Always? (laughs) Then, in that situation, that a member told you to not think about too much, did those words make it easier for you?
K: Well, you can open yourself to new options like “well let’s do it this way a little more”. However, it’s something that I do all the time. Year after after, it’s not finished.
-It will take some time to complete the song.
K: It takes some time. After all, if it doesn’t become something interesting, I feel like what should I do. It takes time to move from the first stage, the members listening to it and go to the “let’s do this”.
-What’s that next step?
K: Listen to the demo songs together and decide to try one from the songs that are there.I think it’s necessary to put a song and drop the world view and the atmosphere of the song clearly at some point, but it takes a long time to get there.
-I think it’s difficult to express this stage in words, but it’s the key to make songs.
K: Yes, it’s quite difficult.
-However, this is also one  of the traits of  DIR EN GREY but, the chorus that enters at the key points is burning with passion. It seems like it’s going to look good live.
K: As I said before, Kyo is the one who puts the chorus, so it’s normal than the rest don’t know where the chorus is until we record it.
-It doesn’t matter how the guitar riff is going…
K: Yes. It doesn’t matter. That’s why we have to practice all the time during the rehearsal before the live performance. I’m the type of person who can’t do different things at the same time, so I skip it quite a bit (laughs)
-Hahaha. You leave it to the other two (Die and Toshiya)
K: Yes (laughs).
-Then there is another retake of the song “Clever Sleazoid”. What made you pick this song again?
K: He said that he wanted to translate the lyrics into Japanese. Kyo said something like he wanted to try it because the lyrics from the original song changed. It was like, “Well, let’s try to do it”.
-Then, how about the completed form after re-recording?
K: Well, it was already released once, so I don’t really care about it(laughs) Some people liked the original, others will like the new version. Except for the lyrics, the tempo is a bit faster but overall, it hasn’t changed much.
-Originally, this song was released in 2005, but when you look back on DIR EN GREY at that time, what do you think is very different from the present of the band?
K: I would say that there is a solid feeling now. Rather than trying to catch up with anything, I think we are proceeding in a somehow calm manner. The same applies to the stage. It was 15 years ago, so we were young….it was like an apprenticeship, now we are old men, that’s what different from that time.
-What do you remember pursuing at that time?
K: At that time, I was struggling to get closer to the sound I was envisioning.
-Do you mean that you haven’t been able to achieve what you were looking for?
K: Yes. It’s the same with the songs. I was thinking about the sound aspect every, like “How can I make a powerful heavy sound” every day.
-Was that a personal thing?
K: It was for the band as well, I often talked to the members about the kind of sound I wanted to do at that time for the CDs but also for the lives as well, I wondered how could I do it. But at that time, I was struggling to understand it like, “I haven’t achieved it, but I can only show the power of pursuing it while looking for the way to reach it”.
“I haven't reached it, I can only show the pursuit and power of" how can I do it?"
-Did you see anything regarding that aspect when you started going overseas?
K: No, what I thought when we started going abroad was the importance of being ourselves. I wonder if that would be the most powerful thing. So, around 2005, I felt like I was still chasing my ideals.  Like a way that I could I express them in this way. But since we went abroad… and I started to notice that being ourselves was the best more and more….. how could I say it?,..it seems that the destinations we were looking at have been pinpointed all the time. It’s not about how to do it, if we could express what was in ourselves more and more, we would change it to the consciousness that would create that kind of sound.
-That means, for example, that when you released “CLEVER SLEAZOID”, looking back, you hadn’t reached that point that you are talking about yet.
K: I think we didn’t reach it. We didn’t but I feel that pursuing how we could do that, the power at that time, remains in it as something that could be only be produced at that moment.
-True. It emits an unbelievable power and it was a proof of that struggle.
K: Yes. If I look at it now, I wonder if that it’s linked to its originality.
-Surely.   After that it connected with THE MARROW OF A BONE (2007). Around that album, did you feel like you obtained that you were looking for?
K: Well, I think I did, but still at that time, I was wondering how I could do it. So I think it’s only recently that I’m thinking in this way.
-Ah, recently?
K: Yes, about “DUM” (DUM SPIRO SPERO, released in 2011). But “DUM” isn’t recent either (laughs)
-Hahaha  you noticed that…that’s right (laughs). In an era when you were struggling to pursuit something, you became solid as a band. Then, the atmosphere in the band would naturally change for the better, because it means that from that moment, along with them and the music, you have reached your goal.
K: I think so.  Also, what could I say about our band?..... All the members think that they have a different feeling about their knowledge and ability to imagine but, the reaction will definitely come when the song seems to settle down in a “this is it” form. Some of us will say, “I think it’s better do it this way”, while other will say “if we go in this direction, we should do this”. Therefore, that we can talk about such things has not changed from the past. While my senses are growing, after all there is still an atmosphere of pursuit in the end, in doing more and more interesting things, so I think that’s a good place for us.
-Even if you gained more knowledge and experience, it doesn’t feel strangely calm at all. K: It’s not. If that happens, it wouldn’t be interesting.
“Now I think, do we really want to do that?”
-I see. So, the mastering engineer and mixing-in engineer this time are also talented, but did you proposed the selection of these people to the members after listening to how overseas artists sound?
K: Sometimes I do. As for this engineer,Josh Wilbur,  the director said he would like to try to work with him once and asked him to mix “Ochita koto ga aru sora”.He had been trying to get in touch with him for a long time, but he couldn’t, but he was able to communicate with him this time and asked, "Would you like to try it once?".
-Josh Wilbur is a person whose range of work goes from Avil Lavigne to Lamb of God. How was the result?
K: Well, I’m glad we asked for a simple one.
-After all, with that width….
K: It’s better that way. This kind of person will return what you ordered exactly as you ordered it. Sometimes no matter how much we explain it, there are people who don’t understand, so they don’t know what to do. At first, Josh used to put a lot of effects on songs and so on. Listening to that, Kyo said "nothing is good" (laughs). The exchange was interesting, though.
-If you leave the decision to someone else, something that shocks you can come out.
K: Yes. Wow, this person comes quite a bit (laughs)
-(Laughs) At that moment, you understood his way.
K: So, Josh’s first mix was more metal-ish. Also, the sound of the drums….it wasn’t like it was crazy but it felt like bumpy….it was like “mmm, it’s a bit different”, but after several exchanges with him, it went well.
-What about Jens Bogren (who has worked with many famous metal bands such as Arch Enemy and Opeth) who mixed “CLEVER SLEAZOID”?
K: It’s a different type (of mixing) from Josh. Jens has worked with us several times so far so  he knows the directions.
-And the mastering engineer for the three songs of the single, including the live version of  “Followers”, Brian Gardner (Linkin Park, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Eminen etc..) is the same one than “Ningen wo Kaburu” and “The World of Mercy”.
K: Yes. If you change the mastering too much, it’s hard to predict the finish result.  It’s difficult to know how the mix will turn out, so if you want to change the engineer that does the mixing, you should do the mastering with the same person as before.
-I see. Because the song will be created from the scratch again.
K: Well, that’s also interesting but I’m worried about what to do if it fails…
-About the future of DIR EN GREY, of course, I think that you will only do what you can do under these circumstances but, what kind of expectations do you have?
K: We are thinking about moving towards making an album.  As for concerts, it can’t be helped that we have to wait until we can do them, so I guess that I have to devote myself to making songs.
-Taking advantage of this situation, you will be able to concentrate in that.
K: Well, that’s right. I have time, so in that sense it’s easy to concentrate.
-In fact, is it time already to move into the album?
K: Yes. After Pia Arena, we were planning to go to production as we don’t have any concerts.
-For example, the single “The World of Mercy” included an acoustic version of “Dozing Green”, was there any talk about trying to do an acoustic live at these times?
K: Sometimes….that’s right. If we do that, I have to think about acoustic arrangements for that so let’s do a normal live performance (laughs). It’s not a bad idea to do a live like that because of this situation but, it’s like “do we really want to do it now?”.
-Ah, I see. Apart from your intentions it doesn’t make sense to you to simply say “We’ll do it because we can do it” in the current situation.
K: Yes, I think so.
“Without “BLUE BLOOD” I wouldn’t really be who I am now” (second part here)

How to Monitor Competitor PPC Data on Amazon?
Tumblr media
This blog will brief you about the process of collecting information to analyze Competitor PPC data on Amazon. With the use of Amazon search results Crawler, we can scrape product and pricing data rank, ASIN, price, frequently sold products, name, and description of the product, and many more.
Below are the steps to monitor the data:
Create a cloud account
Choose an Amazon search results crawler
List the input URLs.
Execute the scraper and download data.
There will be few pre-built scrapers, in addition to extracting price information from e-commerce websites that can scrape real estate data, Google, social media information, job information, and many more. The scraper and information can be crawled from any browser. It is also possible to deliver information to Dropbox.
How to Extract Product Information from Amazon?
Tumblr media
The Cloud Amazon Search result crawler is simple to use and can also assist in gathering data within minutes. The Amazon Search Results Scraper will extract the product name such as ASIN, sponsored products, price, FBA, and other data points from the Amazon search results page.
The crawler will also scrape the product details that create a campaign add inside a product page. The crawler will also assist in gathering products from a frequently bought section.
The cloud also has various crawlers for extracting information from Amazon such as Amazon product details, Bestseller’s list, Reviews and ratings.
1. You can contact 3i Data Scraping for creating an account in the crawler and using Amazon Search Results Crawler.
Each account you create will allow you to examine the crawler by scraping 25 pages for free before you subscribe.
2. Add the Amazon Search Results Crawler to your account and provide inputs
Once we create an account for you, we will add the Amazon Search results crawler. For acquiring the input, you can visit Amazon.com, and search for the products that you are searching for. This crawler will accept a variety of inputs such as search URL or category URL, product name, GTIN, ISBN, keyword, or EAN. For instance, we have shown results for AA batteries.
Sponsored Product advertising runs on Amazon in two places: inside search engine results (as shown in the image above) and as a component of an ad carousel near the top of order details pages. Advertisers can use this feature to promote specific products in Amazon search results and on order details pages.
You can check on the listing page that if the product is sponsored then it will be marked as ‘Sponsored’ above the product details. This page's search URL will be copied and pasted into the Amazon scraper as input. An example of a URL for a search result is as follows:
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=aa+batteries&crid=1FBOT01OXJK0Z&sprefix=AA+batt%2Caps%2C434&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_1_7
Tumblr media
Search result URLs will be accepted by the Amazon Search Results Crawler. On the main crawler, you can click on the INPUT tab and the input URLs can be pasted with each URL divided by a new line. After writing all the search URLs, it is also possible to select the pages number for the crawler to extract the data.
The filters ‘brand' and ‘domain' will not work if you supply a list of query URLs.
If you supply a set of keyword phrases, they will be harvested only if no search URLs are provided. You may also use a trademark or many brands to narrow down your search.
Executing the Amazon Search Results Crawler
Tumblr media
Choose to collect the data or fetch the data for executing scraper once after you save the crawlers input settings.
The graphics that are shown here demonstrate a scraper in both Start and Run modes. A scraper can be interrupted in running mode by using the Stop button. You can only retrieve 25 pages using the free version. You can also contact 3i Data Scraping for a data scraping plan.
Download the Amazon Sponsored Product Information
Tumblr media
You can choose view information and Download Data once the process is finished. The data can be downloaded as Excel, CSV, or JSON.
The data scraped from Amazon in CSV format is presented in the sample below.
